KEITH SWEAT

Keith Sweat is the son of hairdresser Juanita Sweat and factory worker Charles Crier. Charles died in 1973 and Juanita raised her five kids alone. Sweat earned a BS in communications from City College of New York. He worked as a night stock boy at Macy's and then a mailroom clerk at Paine Webber. In just four years he worked his way up to a lucrative brokerage assistant job on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. 

Sweat worked for the commodities market in the New York Mercantile Exchange.

 

Sweat sang at nightclubs throughout New York City until he was discovered and offered a recording contract with Elektra Records in 1987.

 

He has two daughters, Keyshia (1990) and Keia (1992). He named his record label, Keia Entertainment, after his younger daughter. From 1992 until 2002, he was married to Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Lisa Wu Hartwell. With her, he had sons Jordan (1995) and Justin (1998).

 

Sweat has full custody of all four of his children and is a single dad. He raised his kids in Atlanta, Georgia with the aid of his mother.

 

 

 

STEVE HARVEY

 

Broderick Steven "Steve" Harvey (born January 17, 1957) is an American actor, comedian, entertainer, television/radio personality and author. He hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harvey, and Family Feud. He is the author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was published in March 2009, and the book Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find and Keep a Man.

 

Harvey starred in The Steve Harvey Show, and he was featured in The Original Kings of Comedy. He also hosts the Steve Harvey Project, on an extended cable channel.
